It was beside Laporta in a press conference held this

The candidate for the presidency of FC Barcelona "Joan
Laporta" chose the former France defender "Eric Abidal" to take
over as director of the new sporting director of the giant Catalonian , if Ketlona
famous political club win the presidency in elections scheduled mid-July.
Former president of Barcelona has announced recently to
enter elections for the presidency of Barcelona against the president Josep Maria

And after Laporta has revealed about his plan if he won in
elections where he announced that he will cancel the sponsor contract with the
Qatar airlines , and keeping Luis Enrique as manager of Barcelona and giving
Johan Cruyff a prominent post inside the club, it was time to disclose about
the sporting director of the club.
The sporting director of Laporta said during the addess of
Laporta today afternoon: “for me it is a big honour to be beside Juan , really I
am very excited to this project. Barcelona is more than a club for me . I always
wants to continue the work here for many years , and I think that I am lucky to
be here on the personal and practiacal side, and now we want to start new
project and new palyers in La Macia like Leo , Xavi, and Iniesta , and this
club belongs for his fans.”
