Barca president Josep Bartomao admitted today that if a
compact case with Brazilian Neymar hurt the club, it is our duty "to fix
it."
Bartomao said in an interview with the (BBC) today,
"the fact that there are people who are far away from Barcelona may think
that the image of the club have been hurt and certainly our duty is to help and
to explain and interpret the situation for all the world as we have done the
right way."
Bartomao Discussed, who took over Barca last January
following the resignation of his predecessor, Sandro Rosell, in the meeting the
supposed irregularities in the contract with the international Brazilian Neymar.
He considered the controversy about the deal Neymar
"embarrassing" because the club has the "right", adding:
"We were not happy with the situation, but we will defend our club more
strongly when judge calls us to give our words."
Bartomao pointed out that the club gave last month to the
Ministry of Finance announcement Spanish financial disclosure supplementary
value of 13.5 million euros belonging to Neymar deal as a "precautionary
measure."
The president of Barca, "we do this because there is another
possible explanation for the different contract Neymar and we want to be
careful and not to be subjected to any risk, Barcelona a known global brand and
we take care of the club."
Bartomao explained that this does not mean that the
institution recognizes as "the guilty and who has done something bad"
in a Neymar deal, after the charge of committing a crime against the Spanish public
treasury for Barcelona last month.
According to the prosecution, Barcelona committed the crime
of fraud tax in the 9.1 million euros to clarify the non-payment of 10 million
euros in 2011 and 27.29 million euros in 2013 to ensure the deal points are not
mentioned in official documents received by the concerned authorities in Spain.
