The Uruguayan star Luis Suarez Received today Golden Boot
award as the best scorer for the 2013-2014 season at a ceremony in Barcelona,
Spain.
Suarez scored last season with 31 goals for Liverpool team in
33 games, to be crowned top scorer in the Premier League, scoring without any
penalty, sharing the award with Cristiano Ronaldo Real Madrid, but he received it
today in a separate ceremony.
the legend and former coach of Liverpool Kenny Dalglish gave
the award to the new Barcelona striker.
The top scorer of Uruguay's historic first score more than
20 goals with the club for Liverpool during two consecutive Premier League
after Robbie Fowler.
It was sharing the Golden Boot for the third time in the
history of the prize, awarded by the terms of the Bulgarian Hristo Stoichkov
and Mexican Hugo Sanchez (1989-1990) and Thierry Henry and Uruguayan Diego Forlan (2004-2005).
Suarez scored over four seasons with the Reds 69 goals in
110 games and making 23 goals, including 13 in his final season.
